30 Days Project Part II: Day 9: Gun Youngs Bulgogi Recipe

Morning Routine.
Saturday Morning, Fancy Breakfast. I need to make a
butter dish and a syrup pitcher.
Leftover Lunch: salad and mushroom, pepper, egg mix.
Studio snack while working on my straw holders.
Dinner with friends Ahran, Zepher, and Gun Young!
Gun Youngs FAMOUS Koren Bulgogi, yum x10!

Gun Youngs Bulgogi Recipe 

1-1.5 lb of thinly sliced beef of lamb 
1 medium onion
½ green pepper
½-1 carrot sliced diagonally
Lots of mushroom (we used shiitake and oyster mushroom)
Pack of sesame leaves

Sauce 
Soy sauce 6Tb (We used less sodium one) 
Oyster sauce (no MSG) 1.5 Tb (you can get this from Asian market)
Syrup (honey, agave, maple) 2Tb
Sugar 1-1.5Tb 
Mi-jung or Mi-rim (Marinade with ginger and plum) 3Tb -you can get this from Korean market, ask them about cooking wine..
Sesame oil 1Tb
Pinch of black pepper 
Finely chopped green onion 2Tb
Minced garlic 1Tb
Sesame seeds

Slice onion, green pepper, mushrooms and carrot. 
Whisk all the ingredients together in a big bowl. Add meat and half of onion slices to the bowl and massage the marinade with hands.
Cover and Keep in the refrigerator at least for two hours - over night.  Put marinated meat, mushroom, pepper, carrot, and half of onion on the big saucepan. Cook on high temperature until meat is cooked and liquid thickens. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top, wrap in sesame leaves, enjoy!
